About Us

Socat was founded in 2017 by Troy Edwards.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, his primary focus has been within the aviation sector. In 2000 he was offered the opportunity to take a position with a major International airline based in Hong Kong and has been there ever since.

When the aviation industry entered a significant downturn in early 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19, he found a desire to connect people in a slightly different way than what he was used to and as a result, Socat now works closely with H2Okkaido an exclusive Natural & Sparkling Mineral water producer in Northern Japan and also an Indonesian coffee brand that has direct connections with local farmers that produce Arabica, Robusta, and House Blend beans. 

It's our aim to take Japanese mineral water and Indonesian coffee beans to the rest of the world.
